By now you might be curious about who I am, and I could give you my professional spiel (journalist who has been covering   issues since 2007, written over 200 regionally and nationally published articles, ect).  But I’ll skip straight to the good stuff, and tell you 7 things about me. I’m a:

-Southern Belle posing as a New Yorker at the moment.
I moved to New York City from Tennessee in 2009 during the winter (foolish!) and without any kind of job lined up (ambitious!). After a series of crappy gigs, I landed a job at a magazine. I realized it wasn’t for me, and I peaced out. I’m creating my own path now.

-Wannabe Rockstar
My ultimate dream is to write and produce a CD. Too bad I can’t sing, huh? I mean, I hit a good note every now and then…okay, okay, you would not want me to serenade you.

-Travel Freak
I love to be out and about on the road. I left the country for the first time in 2010, and I did a mini-tour of the Southwestern United States the summer of 2011. My goal is to visit all 50 states before my 30th birthday in 2015.

-Optimist Who Never Gives Up.
I don’t stop believin’.  When I decide I want something, watch out!

-Extremely Loyal Person.
I never give up on anyone else either. Even when I probably should. Am I the only one still watching Grey’s Anatomy?

-Godmom To My BFF’s Four Kids.
It’s almost like being a kid again, except I’m buying the toys instead of begging for them!

-Obsessed with all things Gen Y , Identity, Careers, and Happiness.
It’s kinda my thing.
