Putting The “Self” Back Into Self-Care

Putting The “Self” Back Into Self-Care

And although I'm looking at this in terms of my romantic relationship, this is really applicable to any transformation you want to make (yes, careers and business, too!) that requires you to take a step back to reflect and to go a little bit deeper than maybe you've had to go before.

I came back from my trip to England and Scotland thinking I wanted to do a show on the benefits of switching up your surroundings, but this was not that show!

Instead, I was inspired to talk about the deeper side of “self-care” as I reflected on all the care work I had to do to set myself up to be open to receiving what I wanted in my life.

For the first time in a long time, I shared pictures of the man I am dating. I was tempted to write about how wonderful he is, but I quickly realized that the story I needed to share was more about me and the self-care journey I took to get to this moment where I have been open to letting love into my life.

And although I’m looking at this in terms of my romantic relationship, this is really applicable to any transformation you want to make (yes, careers and business, too!) that requires you to take a step back to reflect and to go a little bit deeper than maybe you’ve had to go before.

In fact, the framework I used for myself is the same one that I frequently use with people I coach around awareness, choice, and transformation.

The work I put in lead me to some transformative changes and mindset shifts. And I’m excited to share those with y’all today.

So, grab a cup of tea and sit back and join me. This is the type of conversation you want to dive into as you are setting your intentions for the week!
